This fall, we will once again be offering opportunities to unite our hearts to love and serve our dear neighbors in celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of St. Joseph!

The following locations are looking for your support and donations.

 

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Drive-up Drop-off Collection

When: Sunday, October 10

Where: 3134 Hundred Oaks

Time: 3PM – 4:30PM central

We are collecting the following to help meet the needs of those affected by Hurricane Ida.

Pillows
Rice Pots
Blankets
12 c Coffee Makers
Towels
Toasters
Queen Size Sheets
Bathroom Heaters (small)

Gift cards are also an option: Target, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond

Kalamazoo, Michigan

Outreach to Neighbors in Need – Collection

When: Saturday, October 16th

Where: 2929 Nazareth Road

Time: 10am – 2pm eastern

Collecting the following items:

Toiletries for Afghan Families that are relocating in Kalamazoo

New Socks for Men and Women for Ministry with Community

Non-perishable food items for Loaves and Fishes

Sisters and Associates will be in the Nazareth Center Parking Lot under the carport with barrels to be filled.

 

LaGrange Park, Illinois

Drive-Thru and Drop-Off Food Pantry Items

When: Saturday, October 16, 2021

Where: 1515 West Ogden Avenue

Time: 10:00 am – Noon

Non-perishable food items needed

Queen of Heaven Cemetery Clean-up

Where: 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, IL

When:

October 14, 2021      10:30-12:30

October 15, 2021      9:30-11:30

October 16, 2021      9:00-11:30

We will be cleaning the gravesites of our sisters located at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Wheeling, West Virginia

Drive and Drop Collection

When: Saturday, October 16th

Where: Two locations:

  •  Mount St. Joseph, 137 Mount St. Joseph Rd.
  • Saint Michael’s Parish, in the parking lot, 1225 National Rd.

Time: 9am-12 Noon eastern

Collecting items for the Winter Freeze Shelter: NEW SOCKS, BRIEFS AND BOXERS IN ALL COLORS AND SIZES ARE NEEDED FOR MEN AND WOMEN.

 

Cleveland, Ohio

Drive-up Drop-off Collection

When: Saturday, October 23

Where: St. Joseph Academy parking lot, 3470 Rocky River Drive

Time: 10AM– 12PM eastern

We are collecting the following items:

Health and hygiene products: bath-sized soaps, men’s and women’s deodorants, toothbrushes, toothpastes, men’s and women’s razors, men’s and women’s socks.

Please note that we are not collecting canned goods this time.

Please put all donated items inside your trunk in bags or boxes marked CSJ. Pop your trunk when you arrive, and one of our volunteers will unload your donation, which will be given to The West Side Catholic Center.

 

Service and collections are also happening in the following cities:

Tipton

Charleston

Wichita

Some of these locations will be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions and some are still working out details. As we get more information, this page will be updated.
