Over 80 sisters and associates from our founding communities of Cleveland, Wichita, Nazareth (in Kalamazoo, Mich.), and LaGrange Park (just outside of Chicago) participated in the Women’s Marches on January 21st, to stand with and for all marginalized populations. While the reasons for attending were as varied as the women who participated, to paraphrase Father James Martin, “If we waited until everyone agreed with us to get involved we would never leave the house.” If you are on Facebook, you can read his full statement here.
