We, the Congregation of St. Joseph, remain committed to promoting peace and non-violence in our world in every way we can. Thus, we denounce the recent violence that has caused an escalation of tensions in the Middle East and we urge Congress to promote serious diplomacy to settle conflict.
Our hearts go out to the families of those who have lost their lives due to recent violent acts, and we turn to God as we pray for them. We pray as well for our elected leaders that they may be imbued with wisdom and compassion. Let us all choose to be instruments of peace, unity, and non-violence.
