Peace Movement subcommittee
 
The peace movement includes our work to join efforts toward peaceful solutions for areas of war around the globe. The Iraq War, the Palestine/Israel conflict, Haiti, Darfur and Colombia are just a few examples of places where our support for peace is needed. We work with international, national, regional and local organizations. Some are Catholic-based, some are ecumenical or interfaith and some are secular/civic groups. The work includes providing educational materials, taking part in local and national actions, meeting with legislators, etc. If you have energy and good ideas for our work of unity and reconciliation in this area, please contact Mary Ellen Gondeck at mgondeck@csjoseph.org
