October 17, 2008 - Sister Kathleen Carey, CSJ, was honored by St. Ignatius for her years of service at their annual fundraiser, Boulevard Bash.

November 2, 2008 - Sister Corita Ambro, CSJ, was honored by Cleveland City Council for her nearly 40 years of service to the St. Augustine Hunger Center in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland.

October 14, 2008 - Sister Marie Pierre, CSJ from Senegal, Africa, visits Cleveland as part of her peace and justice sponsored tour of America.

September, 2008 - Sister Juanita Shealey, CSJ, named one of Northeast Ohio's Most Influential in the African American community by the Call & Post Newspaper.

On May 18th, 2008, Catherine Pinkerton, CSJ received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee, MA.
