Sister Helen Prejean’s Ministry Against the Death Penalty website contains information and resources for those looking to learn more about her, her work to end the death penalty in the United States, and how to get involved. You can also order her books and sign up to receive her eNewsletter.

Catholic Mobilizing Network is a sponsored ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph working in close collaboration with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Through education, advocacy, and prayer, Catholic Mobilizing Network proclaims the Church’s pro-life teaching and prepares Catholics for informed involvement in the public debate to end the death penalty and promote restorative justice.

Dead Man Walking changed the conversation about the death penalty in the United States and has become a modern classic, while Sister Helen’s second book, The Death of Innocents, shows how disastrously wrong this flawed, very human system is by taking us close to the stories of two men she accompanied to their deaths. For a donation of at least $20, we will send you a copy of one of Sister Helen’s books, Dead Man Walking or The Death of Innocents. For a donation of $40 or more, we will send you both books. Please click here to order one or both books.
