Located on the grounds of St. Joseph Center, this turn-of-the-century farmhouse serves as quiet space for spiritual retreats. Little Noddfa (the Welsh word for “refuge”) began in 1992 to provide focused programs such as: The Enneagram Tired Mothers Retreat and spiritual direction. Small groups find this an ideal location for retreats or private quiet time. A labyrinth is located just a few steps from the front porch.

Rooted in the prayer of Jesus, “That all may be one...” (John 17:22b) the Magnificat Center promotes the charism and mission of the Congregation of St. Joseph by working for unity and reconciliation among all peoples without distinction and all creation, fostering an atmosphere of holiness and healing in an environment of prayer, hospitality and peace. The Magnificat Center serves the dear neighbor spiritually and emotionally by offering retreats, workshops, prayer groups, spiritual direction, and days of prayer and providing sacred space for individuals and groups sponsoring events in keeping with our mission.

This lovely retreat center nestled in the hills of West Virginia offers all who visit a place of peace and rest. In addition to hosting retreats, programs and spiritual direction, St. Joseph Center is often used by groups for planning retreats.

In a desire to provide quiet, reflective space for business and/or ministerial meetings, St. Joseph Conference Center offers a perfect blend of efficiency and hospitality. While the Center is the home of the Sisters of St. Joseph and senior lay residents, it welcomes hundreds of meeting attendees every year for meetings and retreats. The center offers meeting space, audio/visual equipment, meals and overnight accommodations for groups of varying sizes. Established in 1980, the Center invites guests to relax and decompress in the absence of constant demands.

The House of Prayer is a modern two-bedroom log cabin located on the grounds of St. Joseph Center. This cozy house invites reflection and renewal in an atmosphere of peaceful solitude. The House of Prayer is a ministry of hospitality for those who have a desire to leave the madd ening crowd for a time.

The Well is a spirituality center located in LaGrange Park. Established in 2002, it united two ministries, Women’s Well (established in 2000) and Allium, an eco-spirituality center (established in 1991). The Well is a place where people of all faiths and all cultures are invited to affirm our communion with God and all creation, to experience an atmosphere for spiritual and physical wholeness and to participate in the sacred process of healing and caring for earth and her people. Programs offered include: retreats, spiritual direction, prayer days, earth spirituality classes, featured speakers, intercultural experiences, yoga, Reiki and labyrinth walks.
